It’s April 18th, 2015. Week fifteen of writing 1,000 words per day of fiction.
It’s time for another update!
Days 102 through 108 have been successes, with a minimum of 1,000 words per day written.
Stats for Days 102 to 108:
Day 102 – 1396 words
Day 103 – 1243 words
Day 104 – 1075 words
Day 105 – 1445 words
Day 106 – 1440 words
Day 107 – 3540 words
Day 108 – 1177 words
Total count for the year thus far is 143,934 words. Average daily word count is 1,332 words, up from previous weeks by a little bit. Gridfall is at 130,925 words. Based on my projections for the story, it is 65.4% finished.
This week’s writing has been split between three projects: Gridfall, the round robin writing game, and a new short story I’m working on (WIP titled “The Children of Avalon Circle”). I might have to put Avalon Circle on hold since I don’t want it to completely take over my novel progress. I’m already looking at five months of the year for rough draft completion of Gridfall, and I’d really like to finish it before moving on to new projects.
